APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT (click for link)     Cavalier County has openings for seasonal road maintenance oil crew workers. An application may be obtained online:  cavaliercounty.us/employment  Applicants will also be asked to complete an Equal Employment Opportunity questionnaire, which is not part of the application process but will be given to the County’s Title VI coordinator. The application can be returned in person or by mail to the Cavalier County Highway Department, 901 3^rd St. St. 9, Langdon, ND 58249 or placed in the drop box located at Door 1 of the Cavalier County Courthouse, 901 3^rd St. St. 9, Langdon, ND. Applications will be accepted until the positions have been filled. Applicant must be at least 16 years of age and must have a valid North Dakota driver’s license. A successful applicant with a commercial class B license, with air brake endorsement, will be paid $1/hr. more. Experience not necessary. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday (weather permitting). Starting salary is $17.49 an hour. Successful applicants may be subject to a background check. All Cavalier County employees are subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
